For balls out social polititcal hardcore punk rock its gotta be Good Charlotte.
But if you fancy a bit of death metal you cant beat Linkin Park.

If I see the bass player from Busted make one more stupid face to the camera, then I'm paying Lisa from Eastenders to make a contract killing.
Er, LP for me.

err, because its akin to asking someone rather they'd rather shoot themselves in their left or right testicle...
Good Charlotte were in the Rancid video
which makes them totally punk and hardcore

None of them are great, but worst by far are 'Good Charlottle'.
What a joke they are.:help:
No mention yet of the best metal band on the planet today - Sum 41

I think Limp Bizkit are by far and away the pioneers of heavy metal in the 21st century. Their deeply thoughtful lyrics and incredible live shows go some way to backing up their claim as the Led Zeppelin of their generation. Them and Busted are just about keeping extreme heavy metal alive and kicking in todays mediocre world of Arch Enemy, Opeth and Katatonia.

Well, whilst being a big fan of Opeth, Arch Enemy and Katatonia. I don't mind a bit of Linkin Park. Good disposable pop tunes I think, and a lot more unoffensive than the bland Pop Idol/RnB stuff that clogs up the rest of the charts.
Good Charlotte are wannabe punks tho. And even proper punk is crap, so they're the lowest of the low! :D

Agree with Greg B you can't have this thread without the Mighty Sums, ever bit as influential and important to todays new groups as Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Papa Roach.

Linkin Park is the best. They're fusion of the hard-core rap of East 17 and the hard rock genius of Stiltskin is the best thing their has eva been.
Respeck to the Park for keepin it real!

crack crack crack crack
i'm going to say good charlotte purely because i saw them at reading and they were absolutely aware of the fact that everyone thought they were awful and just went with it. give them their dues, at least they gave a good performance and i wouldnt walk away if they were playing again  funny guys.
musically, i think theyre both terrible but there was a time when i though that bros were the bees knees so i have no room to talk :D
the forums musical elite can back to their insults now though   ;)
I'd go with Busted being the best out of all mentioned so far.
I've been listening to the first half of their new album loads (I get bored after that!)
Their next single - air hostess is pogo a gogo!

Eddie vedder says it best
If it weren’t for the Buzzcocks we might sound like Good Charlotte or something that sounds like..........or there good, its sounds like..... Its tastes like Popsicle thats been stuck up somebody’s arse.
Ahem.... Busted= Wannabe homos. I used to like them until I realised how utterly crap they were after I went to a concert. Too many female fans shouting "I love you Matt!" I took a liking to it however :n0rty:.... Good Charlotte are great to listen to if you're in the mood. However, Linkin Park rules over them with In The End, Faint and Numb. Mind you, there are WAY better bands than them two! Papa Roach, HIM, Green Day, The Offspring, Wheatus, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, Yellowcard, Blink 182, Nirvana, Slipknot and Korn. That's what you should be into!
Yeah I'm just a Teenage Dirtbag baby!
Listen to Iron Maiden baby!

Both bands smell.
His Infernal Majesty I quite liked to a degree.
Buy a Ramones record.
I don't mind Good Charlotte...
Linkin Park are far too earnest and pofaced for my liking.

Is this a trick question? None of them gets my vote.
Rap Metal? I assume rap is spelt with a silent C:p
Listen to some decent Metal - early Priest, Maiden, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, AC/DC - blows all this new stuff away.
Good Charlotte.... more like a mediocre Green Day.
