Anyone else got this..?

Been playing it a lot this week... some nice little tunes; and I think her voice is really sexy :norty:

Plus going seeing them on my birthday in Manc :thumbs:

Not a patch on Felt Mountain. They are well worth seeing live especially when their entire set consisted of Felt Mountain and nothing else as that’s all they’d written!

Been listening to this a lot on MD on the way to work. Her voice is great, might have to check out Felt Mountain - how does it compare genre-wise?

Best album of the year IMO.

I saw them live for the first time at Glastonbury this year and now it's a :luv: thing.

There is a soundboard quality boot from this year available on the net without too much of a search too for anybody that is interested. :norty:

The lead singer is dead diiiieeeeeeerrrty! Saw them at V2003 and they were pretty good.

Felt Mountain and black Cherry are very far removed in feel. Felt mountain is similar lyrically to Black Cherry but the music moreatmospheric. Black Cherry is more sleazy and obviously electronica.

I think they got too caught up in trying to ride the Electroclash thing that was fashionable for about 10 seconds in 2002. By the time their album had come out everything had moved on.

I have to agree there, I was a little disappointed with the latest CD compared with FM.

its a great album. I havent heard FM, whats it like?
if its slower / chilled compared to BC im not sure I'd like it....

I'm another who prefers Felt Mountain - didn't like Black Cherry at all.
