Evil Dead Questions!? SPOILERS

Just watched this film for the first time and have a couple of questions:

1) Do the living dead not come through windows?

2) How come the book burning had the effect it did?

I've done my best not to spoil the film for others...any answers gratefully received.

BTW really enjoyed the film (have the new R2 uncut version with DTS 6.1 ES!!(bit of a waste of time really))

Originally it was planned for that stupid necklace magnifying glass to let the sunlight onto the book and burn it that way but they changed that idea for some reason

I dont know what you mean about them smashing through windows exactly .....I guess they just dont want to cut there fingers on the sharp glass .....

I rather suspect that the minutae of The Evil Dead evades explanation... just enjoy the ride. :D
