I know there are some fellow cure fans here, well good news the cure are coming to dvd.

The up and coming greatest hits album(yet another one) due out the end of this month will also be coming out on vhs and DVD(make sure you get the first batch of cds as it comes with a bonus cd of acoustic songs see below).

The dvd will include, as well as the vids for the songs, some hidden extras and a 30 min acoustic set (the Forest ,the lovecats, close to me, lullaby, Friday I'am in love and just say yes-one of their new songs).

Now if they could just see their way to releasing The orange concert and the mtv unplugged session on dvd... :D

nice one... although I've gone of them a bit after seeing them play at Roskilde. Bob just couldn't be arsed :(

:confused: I thought that 'Bloodflowers' was the end of it all? :confused: Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them carry on but I thought they had decided to call it a day.

They've added a couple of new tracks to their new greatest hits album.
The new single is excellent,I'm not a huge Cure fan,but this is the best thing they've done in at least 10 years.Its "head in the door" period Cure imo

Great news. So if I'm right in order to have all the new songs with the videos and the acoustic versions you need to buy the CD and the DVD and the single? I love those marketing guys, really clever ... The question is wich videos will be on the DVD?

It will be all the vids for the songs on the cd, check out the website for track listing the link is in a post above. The cure have always been a video band , If you remember mtv in the good old days before it got taked over by hiphop and r&b(got nothing againest that music just not my thing).

Bloodflowers the last album, come on how many times has Rob said that. The last 4 albums have been the last one. It would be a very sad day for British music if they did call it a day. One of the last great British bands still going, who have been forgotten by their own country :(

Very mid-80's "Head on the Door" period.

Wher did you here the single? I thought it was due out late October.

The single, due out 29/10 is being played on XFM at the mo, you should be able to find it on the net with a good file sharing prog, failing that email me and i'll send you it.
