Does she have any representation in the UK ?.
I seem to recall one single getting a release and then just disapearing.
I buy/import her albums from France, so not really bothered. Maybe the one single which I know was marketed/publicised over here didn't sell that well. Foreign language material rarely seems to break the UK market.
How many UK music listeners have heard of another French-Canadian singer called Lara Fabian? Or an Italian singer called Laura Pausini, whose first English language album was released recently? There's a lot of foreign language music out there that's very good indeed, so language shouldn't be a barrier to enjoying the songs themselves.
Moi Lolita (which was a hit in the UK but hardly on the scale of elsewhere in Europe) and the album Gourmandises were released in the UK and that's been it so far. She's done an English version of J'en Ai Marre entitled 'I'm Fed Up' so maybe that'll get a bit of attention if it's released here. You're probably best off just getting the singles/albums from France to be honest.
I'm off to see her in Rouen next month - should be good
Lara Fabian - ahhhh, memories of 80s Eurovision! Her and Laura Pausini are good but I'm not a massive fan of to be honest - I'm not a huge fan of the typical ballady chansons. I prefer the more pop, less French (as t'were) stuff myself.

The usual suspects - Amazon.fr, alapage, fnac...
Amazon UK sell both albums, and from various import sources.

Not cheap are they !.
Is the UK release of Gourmandise identical to the French ?.
There also appears to be a German release of Mes Courants Electriques but I'm clueless as to what the differences are between it and the French.
...and to add more confusion there's a normal and limited digipack release of Mes Courants Electriques listed on the amazon.fr site.
Edit: Play have the French release of Gourmandises for a tenner so I'll be baggin' that for now.
Thanks for your helps chaps !.
I went for the normal edition of Mes Courants Electriques, as the I'd already seen the LE Digipak in Calais, and didn't think the packaging would last, besides being no different content wise to the conventional CD case variant.
