HI ALL
went into whsmith with my sis and they had the 2 books for ten offer on she picked 2 out and we went to the till i just happened to glance at the back of one of the books to notice a retail price of 3.99 and the other said 4.99 i let the woman put through till and they came out at ten so i said cancel that i will buy seperatley
came to 8.98 so out of interest we walked round the store checking all the 2 for 10 offers only to find a good 90 per cent of the books had a retail price of below 4.99
most were 3.99 some even at 2.99
SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL

They're obviously trying to claw something back for the Disney VHS fiasco:p

so in your opinion not a bargain but then again .....................
for the vast majority of books they have which are 5.99 6.99 or 7.99 then its one way of getting them cheaper
what books you looking at anyway - can remember when a book had an rrp of 3.99

let me tell you mate there were not even a handful of 6.99 and 7.99 ones and any above that were not in the offer i do not read books myself i think she got a couple of them flyaway novel you know the paperback things i do remember seeing a book on looking after your garden in the winter something like that for 7.99 which was in the offer
but i didnt need to buy it as i look after and keep my garden tidy all year round
i turned it all into a patio and basketball court for the kids lol lol
This is better suited in the supplier forum as it isn't a bargain

i've had a number of books out of this offer, and not one has had an RRP of less than 5.99, most 6.99 (and i think at least one of 9.99) so i suppose it depends on the type of books you read.

I'm amazed you don't read, looking at your punctuation I thought you had an inherant love for the English language.

It makes your posts easier to read? But then you don't read...

Picked up Dead Air and Babes In The Wood recently for £10; don't have them to hand just now but they should have been £6/7 each IIRC.
Both £3.99 at Amazon mind you but I wanted something for the train...
