I was wondering if anyone out there knows all the car companies doing free insurance options at the minute?

Cheers

I noticed the local Toyota garage had a few cars parked outside with big "free insurance" signs stuck on them. Dunno what cars, or for how long it lasts tho.

My girlfriend got a years free insurance on her KA a couple of years ago but you don't get an extra year NCB at the end of it. But, they don't apply your existing NCB to your free insurance so if you do make a claim, you'll still have your NCB intact because it wasn't applied to the free insurance.

Does that make sense?

A friend has just bought a 206 with two years free insurance, he had to take their finance deal, and he reckons he does get ncb - though I must admit I'm sceptical.

I got 1 years free insurance on my corsa, called them up to renew and they said 'do you want to protect no claims?' I said 'I've only been driving 3 years'. They said 'our system assumes you have 5 years NCB when you take out the insurance - so now you have 6!'

When I got my Fiesta, which was my first ever car, it had 2 years free insurance and the insurance co said that providing I crashed no more than twice I'd leave them with full no claims.
