anyone been to the French grand prix under their own steam

I'm going to the french grand prix arriving in Nevers by train and wonder if there is a shuttle bus to the track?

have you tried contacting the tourist office out there? or used a google search. Knowing the way that the french organise these events there will be a number of buses probably all running quickly and efficiently.

Wasn't there a thread like this a while back? Or was that for Le Mans?

As far as I know there is a shuttle bus from Nevers to the track, which are only about 10 minutes apart by car. However last year I went by minivan and parked it in the camping grounds (a 2 minute walk to the course entrance) - got to see Schuey win his 5th world title.:)

As davester suggested your best ringing the local tourist board - failing that it'd be about 30-45 minutes walk.

Sorry, to make things clear, some family went to le mans, and they commented how well things were run etc. Should put my post in context :D
