Isn't it usually the case that when you expect something terrible (and its not Liverpool), it usually turns out to be quite exciting?
I'm expecting this to be dire in terms of entertainment, so fingers crossed! :thumbs:

Been a crap game, Gatuso and (until he was subbed) Davids have been the only 2 that looked like they wanted to win.
The Utd v Real game at OT suited the final more (even if the result had gone the other way, it was more of a competitive, enjoyable match to watch ;) ). Hate penalties too :(

Milan played really well during the group stages but fizziled out in the knock out stages but they have kept there nerve :notworthy

Just seen some of the penalties from last night again, and I can't believe some of them didn't have to be taken again.
Are keepers allowed to rush out to the edge of the six yard box before the ball has been kicked now or something? At one point I thought Dida was going to pick the ball up before Montero had a chance to kick it! :nuts:

If we saw an exciting game I'd be happy to lose the relatively small wager, but 0-0 going into pens with pretty much zero flair and creativity shown by both sides is worse than I originally thought... :nuts:
Just think about it, with skillful players like Del Piero, Davids, Shevchenko, Rivaldo (on the bench!) etc would ANY team with such players need to approach the same in such a negative playsafe manner? :brickwall
You can understand the Germans playing it this way, but that's due to the serious lack of any players with any flair or creativity... :lol:
