Welcome to the Evertonians thread.
A nice and friendly place to discuss everything blue in merseyside.
A strange season last year but a good point to build on. I think it is where we should about be, but the 4th last season was great :notworthy
With the arrival of AJ almost a formality, huth looks set to follow hopefully as it will boost our back line which is so badly in need of fresh YOUNG good blood.
Let's hope that we have a good transfer season, even though we have no money left, but another good loan signing like Howard will be more than welcoming.
Good luck for next season toffee's and welcome to all those new blues joining the dvd forums and our thread.
You haven't silenced me, wait for the re-match at Highbury. You'll get whooped!!!

Did you lose a bet or something?
Ive gotto keep up with the times Triston, Arsenal are no longer the best team in England, as the table shows.
Only messing I'll turn it back to Arsenal later. ;) :D

Nice sig, its good to that I'm influencing other Gooners with my glorious sigs. :D
Everton are doing well this season which is a real pain for me as I really wanted them to go down.:D
Replacing Walter Smith with David Moyes was great decision. Moyes is another one of the production line of fantastic Scottish managers. If he gets any money Everton will be challengng for UEFA cup places along with Boro. It's good to see British managers getting the chance and the time to manage big premiership clubs to success.

Moyes did a great job for us, gutted when he left :(

The team is playing 'as a team' under Moyes, Smith signed
some really good players (Gravesen, Radzinski) but he
couldn't motivate them.
The games lost so far have been close and twice the
opposition keeper has been motm, and that doesn't
include the Man Utd game where even the dour faced
one said that it was the best Everton team they had
faced in years.
Just wish Moyesey would smile sometimes !
Anyway well happy with the result especially as I had a
tenner on Everton to win at 4 - 1 :)
they are doing very well. arsenal will still win the premier league though, but man utd are doing crap which is always nice to c. liverpool will be in with a shout, but arsenal are a little better.
i agree that if mosey had some cash we would be a top 6 team once again, but until we move, we will still have to sell to buy.

Another closet Evertonian - WOO-HOO :)
Let it be the start of something beautiful.
Couldn't think there would be a bartender on the (blue) Mersey that wouldn't have poured that 16 year old a glass last night (or any part of London that isn't Islington either !)

in response to kronik earlier, i think after last seasons near draw at highbury, we will win this year :rocker:

One win and the Bluenoses come crawling out of the woodwork. Still, logical progression from pitch invasions whenever you win a corner! ;)
Tottenham had a few Everton for the day!;)
Well done to the toffees!
btw, do you think you're going to be able to keep that Rooney kid? I know he's a life long evertonian, but you do have a history of selling your best players(of late). Is that a financial thing, or just because Everton have underachieved for so long?
(sorry if this sounds a tad pretentious, but am just curious)
no, rooney will go nowhere. all our sales were usually done underhandidly by the **** chairman we had before, now he's gone and finances are stable, we don't need to sell anyone.
i hope ;)
I take it that means you can afford a new stadium then?:)

You mean when Arsenal beat you 4 - 3? And Arsenal had already won the league and put out a reserve team?
Kronik, (censored) you brought on all your decent players because until you did you were losing, anyway Arsenal will still win the league but nice for us to get one over on you this time. You were very lucky to beat us last season at Goodison about time we got our own back. Good to see a few other Evertonians here.
By the way your sig isn't because you are one of those who try to be trendy is it i.e Man U then Arse now Liverpool;)
richkev: :notworthy  :notworthy
taxman: sure does m8. season after next.
well, I'm very grateful to Everton for what they did yesterday. As a tribute, my sig has changed for a few days (I'll miss Sarah after that!!)
Well done.
Wayne rooney will not go anywhere he was out last night with his mates in Old Swan drinking in a local pub I don't think the police would have believed him if he had lied about his age :( . We have got alot of good young players coming through at the moment, first time I have been excited about our prospects for a few years, 2 or 3 years time and we will be back up there.

Eh? We lost the game in the 90th minute if your talking about yesterday, so your post doesnt make sense.
And Arsenal never went behind against Everton last season. And if they did, it was only for a short period and never had to bring on our best players to win the game. So you just keep bringing out made up facts you closet Everton fan, you.
Er last season it was 3-1 at Arsenal to Everton and I was referring to the game at goodison last season when Wiltord scored that blinder:rolleyes: As for closet Evertonian unlike most Arsenal Man U and Liverpool fans I actually go to the matches:p ;)
true blue here toooo.......

Youve got the wrong season mate, because I clearly remember the last day of last season, Arsenal were 4 - 2 up and Everton got one last goal against Stuart Taylor, who came on because he needed a 10th appearance for a Premiership medal...
So as I said before, you just keep bringing out your made up facts. :p

The last game of the season was at Highbury, Richkev quite clearly states Goodison in his post
I think you are getting a bit confused :oh-hum:
BTW.. Richkev is refering to the total miskick by Wiltord when it looped over the goalie into the net.
Yes, and it that match Arsenal won 1 - 0 so they never went behind! So I'm right on both accounts! :p

WAYNE ROONEY !!!!!!!!!
Go on my son !
Have only just seen the goal - haven't been so excited since we signed Lineker ! ;)
I would love to see him play a full game just to see what he can do over 90mins. The good thing about today was we played really well as a team and looked as if they wanted to win the game, Leeds had chances as well but Paul Robinson saved Leeds several times Radzinski had a hatful of chances and should have scored a few himself. Rooney has definately got me buzzing but don't want to get carried away yet, one thing I really like about the kid is he looks as if he absolutely loves playing for us unlike Jeffers who every time he came on the pitch looked as if he didn't want to be there.
David Moyes has done a great job for the club he has instilled a will to win that just didn't seem to be there over the last few seasons and more importantly I think the players are now going out there believing they can win every game.

Wise words there richkev - in all probability if he keeps playing like he does he may well be "poached" by a larger club - but his legacy will be that he has reinstated the team as something more than hopeless strugglers - as we have been seen to be up to (and before) the great summer's day in 95.
I know its just one player and two (great) goals - but its just the shot-in-the-arm that we've been missing and have been patching over with such "buys" as Ginola and Gascoigne.
I really like Moyes approach - especially keeping him goal hungry in such a tense way. Full games will approach post-Xmas I think. That said I've been really encouraged to see Radzinski live the couple of times I've seen them this year - and would far prefer to see how Rooney bounces off him - instead of being subbed for him.
Agreed, we have been creating alot of chances this season which is encouraging, i may be a bit older than some of you here but I have not been so excited about our prospects since the eighties when I used to travel everywhere with them (great times), Howard Kendal even put on a hat I had when they paraded the cup through Liverpool. I honestly think Rooney will stay aslong as we can build around him and at the moment we have some great young players coming through.
TBH I get a bit wound up when people go on about bigger clubs, they are only bigger financially, Everton have some of the most loyal fans in the country and we still have one of the highest attendances, Peter Johnson did the club alot of harm, I see him regularly during work and everytime I give him the STARE, I think he has worked it out I am an Evertonian by now as he seems to take a wide berth when he sees me, thankfully now the idiot has left the club they can try to rebuild.

I think it was a superb result. should have been more than 1 nil but that was due to p.robinson.
Dave m is doing a fantastic job and rich has hit it on the head. he's doing the right thing with wayne as i don't think he'd last a full game. maybe giving him a half would be good, but with super kev and tomasz doing well, we don't seem to need him. i just wish tomasz would finish a bit better as he's looking well hungry. then again, the whole team is!
Come on you toffee's!!!!!!!!
jeffers won't b back. we managed to shift an injury prone player so we don't want him back!!
I'd just like to add my Evertonian wight to this thread.
Fantastic result yesterday, it's like Moyes said though, as good as Roony is Radzinski and Campbell had run Leeds ragged, just as they did to Arsenal a couple of weeks ago.
I thin kRooney would be starting now if it weren't for the excellent form of the front two.

Why don't some of you blues pop over the the everton newsgroup once in a while? Some new faces would be most welcome.
Anyways, Wayne's goals against The Arse and Leeds can be found on www.spysports.net
I really should check out other forums !! A whole thread on Everton
It`s amazing how a few good (nay, EXCELLENT) results (and the release of Everton's Best Kept Secret (TM)) have suddenly made us media darlings.
The week after Wayne scored against Arsenal, EVERY paper (including Italian & American) had full spread articles on him, brilliant one in the mail about his family and home.
Of course other ppl deserve mentioning, Wright has settled in now and looks very good to be the new England No.1. I am SO impressed with Yobo, very cool defender and dosen`t just hump it down field unlike Unsy who continues to break down all good moves. I love Unsy, but he really needs to contact ball with grass once in a while!
Lei really needs a goal now, Carsley has surprised me & Pembo is one of the main reasons Wales have started performing well.
But a lot of credit has to go to Radzinski, always knew he was something special and his pace and movement is killing defenders...just so Wayne can come on and nick the winner ! But he never complains, he knows his role and enuff repsect to him.
Bring on the toon army, it may be a lame cup competition, but one we have NEVER won (no matter what they call the league cup) and any silverware shows our increased improvement...my predication
Everton 2 (Radzinksi, Lei) - Newcastle 0
No Shearer for them and they can still win in Europe, Carl Cort up front...I better not be eating my words and Robson has started praising Wayne, just like Wenger, Roeder & Venables did, and look were that left them
superb. we really are going full steam and i can't c us lossing against newcastle. the team and a whole are performing superbly and a mention needs to go to king kev, he is the original messiah!!!
where is this everton newsgroup, is it the one on the website?

I haven't been to the forums for ages cos of work but it's great to see a thread about Everton. It's been pretty amazing the last few weeks and we're playing well too. In fact the whole of this season we have played well and games we lost we didn't deserve to loose! I have to admit though i never thought we'd be 6th by the first weekend in November. Moyes has been brilliant and things are looking up. Moyes and the team must be given time though cos it's not gonna be easy to reach the glory days like the 80s.
superb result again last night for the toffee's. i can't believe this run. we didn't play brilliantly either but we still won.
championship winning stuff this ;) :norty: ::D

And the Blue's go marching on !
Nice to see Radzinski bag-one - though by all accounts he should have got a hat-trick.
4 wins on the trot - the best EVER run we have had in the Premiership to date.
Glory days are coming back
can't disagree with that m8. maybe this could be the start of the new everton revolution!!!!
Poor performance today but we still won, shows how things are changing because if we had played like that last season we would have lost. Up to 4th now, I am getting dizzy. :D
Bit unbelievable isn't it? Frustrating we didn't finish them off (league is tight at the moment and goal difference could mean a few places at the end of the year).
Hopefully we'll keep this run going but I'm so glad progress is being made. And for once we're consistant. The whole season we have been consistant without out getting any lucky breaks in some games (soton game for a start).
Keep up the good work lads!
i think that everything is coming together for Everton atm....
The emergence of Rooney, Radzinski playing out of his skin and Cambell doing a great job
Graveson, lie tie, pembridge, linderoth, carsley in midfield
yobo (pure class), weir, stubbs, unsie (ok not that good), naysmith...
Everyone playing really well, no (or few) injuries...Excellent crowds...there's more hope than for years...
It all seems like the 'rub of the green' is going for us at the moment..(and my nose wont stop bleeding)
on the current form we should get a uefa cup place next year (lets hope not inter-two bob).

I'm tempted to go to the next game. I was going to go but then I thought I'll wait until i have some money in the new year but now I want to go again. Have to speak to the girlfriend!!!!
We on form at the moment. I think we are the most in form team in the premierhip aren't we? Annoying we aren't getting the goals but i'd rather win by 1 and get none or draw 2-2. Clean sheets are great. We have had four in a row!!!!!! Long may it continue.

Didn't play that well today and West Brom had a
chance or two to grab a goal, Yobo was outstanding again
we really need to get his signature on a contract asap.
Still even when playing poor we get 3 points & close the
gap on the leaders so can't really complain too much.

an excellent result yesterday. can't believe it and were winning when not playing well. as ron said on premiership, last time we won 6 in a row we won the championship ;)
yobo will become an everton player by the end of the season apparently as we have first refusal and moyes wants him.

Another good result on Saturday, but november is the month where we will see how the season will pan out, Newcastle, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

Awful is very harsh, he was at fault for the 2nd goal, but he's performed some great saves today.
A fantastic goal by Shearer, surely one of the goals of the season so far, you really have to feel for Everton who were superb in defence.

Hardly!!! They were a player down! You can't expect them to be all attack with one man down. They defended brilliantly until the final few minutes and it did need a class goal to beat Wright. As for bellamy's goal it came off an everton player before it went in past Wright.
Do you know what? I was annoyed about the loss yesterday, but we've had a good run and it had to come to an end sooner or later. Newcastle were lucky i feel. I don't question the sending off (much) but newcastle should have done more if they're the team they're suppose to be. We'll bounce back and I for one will be cheering the blues on for our next game. I also think we can finish in a european place in the leauge. Whatever happens Moyes has achieved so much this season already and success isn't gonna happen overnight. Come on you blues!
Well said sbooth.:)
Yobo has been in my opinion our best player recently and his sending off made all the difference. Robson was right in saying that Bellamy can learn a lot from Shearer, especially how to fall over at the slightest touch. Great goal by Shearer though.

Had Everton not won their last 5 games 1-0?.....I think the statistic of 2 shots on goal in 90 minutes proved that once they got the goal, they were happy to sit back and defend it.
They defended it well, but I think because of the pressure Newcastle applied, we thoroughly deserved to win!....Yes, Bellamy's goal was deflected, but it was still on target before it 'skimmed' the studs of the defenders boot....and you have to give some of the blame to Wright, for being beaten at his near post by that 'lucky' effort!!

Ask your Stanley Park Neighbours how easy it is to break down a team that plays for the majority of the match with a 10 man defence (vs Sunderland)!....But at least we managed it!

Yes Everton had won their last 5 games 1 - 0 but it wasn't because they sat on it. They went for the win and continued to attack but were unable to score.
On sunday it was different. We were a player down and we could hardly be blamed for not playing attacking football then!

was that not my point?....you were happy to sit back and defend your 1-0 lead?:dork:
Everton were time wasting from the off, even before you scored, and a lot more after you had the player sent off!
You feel we were 'lucky' to win, but it's Yobo's fault he was sent off, and that you had to protect the lead you had by defending with 9 men + Wright!....Newcastle pressure was just too much in the end!
MJ:thumbs:
I'm sorry Johnson293 you're talking rubbish. Your pressure only paid off because of an absolutely blinding goal out of nothing from the best centre foward in England for decades. We hadn't looked like conceding before then.
Before that shot Wright only had about 3 saves to make, Newcastle's crossing, shooting, heading and passing in the final third was rubbish.
I think johnson293 you should look into the other games a bit more before you start suggesting that Everton are a boring defensive team.

How many chances did Newcastle have compared to Everton?
You were 'lucky' Wright kept you in it for so long!!!!
What was the score in everton previous 5 games....1-0?
I think that shows they can't exactly be the most attack minded team around!!!!
We beat you fair and square, just get over it and move on!
MJ:thumbs:
If you think that johnson293 you can't have seen them playing in those games, we have created tons of chances in those matches and failed to convert them to goals. One of the fans complaints has been that our dominance in matches has not been reflected in the scorline, difference is we have an excellent defence compared to last season. If you are basing your opinion on the one game you are bound to be accused of talking rubbish and from what I have seen of Newcastle you have suffered in the same respect of not taking chances but you haven't got the benefit of a good defence.

Take off those Blue tinted glasses will you!:dork:
I can undertsand that you are dissappionted at losing after taking the lead in the match, thus ending your winning streak, but let me state a few facts for you:
Everton took the lead with their first and only shot on goal in the first half...I believe you had one further effort in the game.
You have already stated that Wright had to make 3 saves, therefore we created at least 2 more chances than you did.
Given never had make any saves in the game....therefore, how many Everton shots were on Target?
A game of football lasts 90 minutes, and as has recently been proved, Newcastle fight all the way in everyone of those 90 minutes....Is it our fault you were not good enough to hang on to your one goal lead, let alone a 1-1 draw?
Yobo was sent off for a professional foul, as he was the last defender, and pulled Bellamy back....he had to go!
Basically, you went a goal up with one shot, had a man sent off, then defended for 70 minutes....Newcastles finally scored with a great goal, then you cracked, and let in Bellamys goal....end of match, we won!
I may have been wrong about your previous 5 matches, but I am NOT wrong about sundays game, and who are you to call me ignorant?:oh-hum:
Lets just end this now, as it's already took up to much of my time stating the same things over and over again!!!:brickwall
MJ:thumbs:
BTW, can we rename this thread: Evertonians are bad losers!
johnson293, can we just clear up the fact that I agree with you about Sunday's game, we did defend for 70 minutes, although we didn't really have much choice.
My argument with you is about your ill informed comments on Everton's general style of play and our previous performances, which I would guess you know nothing about.

So what would you expect Everton to do?
They are away from home, 1-0 up and then down to ten men. If my team were in that position (Yeah right  ) I would not want them to go cavalier and end up getting a heavy beating.
In fact did Everton did leave two attacking players up front on Sunday when Yobo got sent off. IIRC Carsley got taken off for Weir not Campbell of Redsinki.
For what its worth I saw Everton when they beat West Ham 1-0. I think the score slightly flattered us and Everton could have had more goals. I was impressed with alot of the Everton team but Yobo really stood out for me, did a fantastic job on Di Canio and IMO is a great bargain at 4 million.

OK, I'll hold my hands up...my comments about your other matches were based on seeing the scores alone, and I made my own judgement, which appears to be incorrect.:(
However, I would argue about other comments saying we were 'lucky' to win, when we clearly had more/better chances, and without Wright, and with some better finishing, the scoreline could've been greater!
As far as saying you had no choice but to defend with only 10 men, have you never heard the phrase, 'The best form of defence is attack'?
Anyway, enjoy your Worthy cup tie tonight, after your win against us in the last round.......Which was only because we're so crap at taking penalties!!;)

Rooney is still just 17 and was played out of position, no excuses though we were very poor last night and Chelsea took their chances well. Hope Moyes kicks some butt before Saturday otherwise we could lose again. Still 4 points clear of Newcastle though;)

4 point clear may be but the Toon have a game in hand against Bolton at St james Park.
We were awful last night. Moyes has said as much and he will learn from it. He now knows we can't play the team we played in that formation. Hope we bounce back on Saturday.

Teletext reports Yobo denies he has signed a contract
for 5 years (1st year as loan)
WTF ? I thought he was happy here 6 days ago ?
Edit...
From club site
“I am aware that Joseph feels that he would like us to review the contract, but as far as we are concerned, we have acted honourably in this. We have signed agreements in place and I would hope that the player understands the position and we can go forward from there.”
“If Joseph wishes to renege on that then that is an issue between Joseph and the club, but as far as we are concerned the matter is quite straightforward.”

Just seen SkySportsNews.
Everton are 200-1 to win the Premiership.
Unlikely I suppose but given all the other teams at the top recent run of results (Man U excluded) then they are still not off the pace.
A fiver on would give a grand in return. There's certainly a lot of value in those odds.
LL
I really cannot see us wining the title this year, other teams have much more strength in depth than us. I would say a uefa cup place would be a great result for us this season and then perhaps Moyes can build a team that could challange for the title once he has been given some more cash. Several teams are playing well at the moment including Southampton and Newcastle aswell as Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal, it's great that we only need 8 points to be safe though and I can enjoy the Christmas period for once.

We were unlucky again today, Robbie Keane is a fantastic player.

Crazy game yesterday, we were unlucky to lose that one but made some defensive errors.
Changing the goalie didn't help either. Always had the feeling they would pinch it but at least we didn't roll over when we went behind
That was a sickening game! :( First time we score 3 this season and we let in 4! Don't think the girlfriend was too happy with my mood during and especially after the game!
Mr Dubby
13-01-2003, 10:20
Baardsen made one or two decent saves but apart from that he hadn't a clue where he was - in the first half he was all over the shop, coming for balls when they were heading toward the corner flag and basically in no-man's land half the time. On more than one occassion outside his area when Spurs had the ball on the halfway line (not that they'd have hit the target!!!)
Spurs were lucky that Rooney wasn't playing cos he's have run them ragged and bagged 3 himself in the first half
Ledley King made great saving tackles for Spurs and then promptly gave the ball away every time and Stefan Iversen was a joke
The only quality on the pitch I'd say was the finishing from Keane (relentless) and Li Tie (sp?) composed and accurate most of the time.
A pants game but as a neutral, fun to watch :D

The FA want him for the squad, though Sir Bobby is trying to take a similar stance to David Moyes.

i agree, with mcbride and rooney, it will be a goal fest if we continue to play like we have.
Right! Will the goals come tomorrow against Bolton. 3 points is the important thing but I want to see some goals we deserve to get!
i hope so m8
come on u toffees!!!

2 up at half time, lets hope they keep it together for the next 45. Sounded like a cracking first as well
Yes! Good result and pity Bolton scored but sounds like we played well and deserved it.

pity the red noses grabbed that late goal and got a point...ah well
Was a pity they got that point! But did anyone see the Premiership on wed? They only showed 1 Everton goal! That really annoyed me. I mean they weren't going to show extended highlights but to only show one goal. If I was a villa fan i'd be annoyed! They scored 5 and only 2 were shown! It's not on the way ITV run that program!

I totally agree with the criminal lack of coverage on the Premiership. I mean, at least show all the goals and less of the inane chat. I was right fuming
the premiership is a crap program, inferior to bbc's match of the day. at least they show EVERY goal.
can't wait till bbc win the rights back again!
missed the highlights though, did they show the watson overhead scorcher!!!!!
They did show the overhead goal (scorcher indeed) and the second may have only been a tap in but i still wanted to see it!
If you go to the blue kipper web site you can sign a petition that is being sent to ITV to let them know the opinion of fans (they wouldn't print mine:eek: ) it is a good idea for anyone who isn't a red****e arse chelea or man u fan. I was also annoyed on Tues night when the bbc news just gave Chelseas result as if no other games had been played.
i havent checked the bluekipper for a few days, will go there now!
and sign the petition.

fantastic result. i told my old man we would win, wish i'd have stuck a tenner on it now!!!!!!!!!!

Your welcome :(
Radz has been our best player for the last few games, I don't think that we should change our winnings team.
Rooeny will have to sit on the bench next to Yobo, Gravesen and Campbell. What great subs!!!!!

radzs has been awesome recently, but dave seems to liek rooney more. maybe a rooney radzs combo?
nice to see the full bench. also nice to see super back again as well.
now its duncs turn :brickwall
Nice to see we're getting a little run together. Charlton will be tricky but if we continue the way have been playing we'll beat them. I don't think Rooney should start but should get a substantial second half chance. But then again whatever Moyes does will be the right thing (everything else has been so far).
Keep up the good work!

no red ***** winning the cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Been a while since any of us have posted here! Predictions for this weekends game? 3-1 Everton. I certainly think we'll win. Moyesie will not be happy if we don't, especially seeing as he reckons we should be better off than we are! I'm glad Moyes is thinking like that though cos it means he's deadly serious
Game is on PPV so i might have to pay for it! I'm going to my parents this weekend so it could be the only option (and first time I have ever paid for a footy game) as there is no pub with Sky in their home village :(
hopefully an easy home win. i would like to see more goals than we have been scoring though.
i'll watch it if i can get to the pub, hopefully with lass in tow
The history of this fixture looks promising;
Last Season - Everton 2-0 Southampton
Remember the 7-1 in '96, and the 8-0 in '71 !!
Bit different this year though, Soton are no longer a walk over, BUT Beattie's form has dropped....
EASY!!!!
should be a 3 nil'r.
why has it got your name as thread starter as i started it originally??? confused me
That is true silent! You did start it. Damn good thread too (why didn't anyone think of it before? Oh I know we were doing crap then and we kept it too ourselves :suspect: )

at least we have the beautiful thread now thoguh

Come on radders!!!!!!!!!!!!111111

Fanatastic! For a very long time I didn't think it was going to be our day at all and as much as a draw is better than a lost, a win was vital! I still can't believe that shot from radzinski went in at the end! :)
(On a side note, sorry for those I confused by saying it was PPV. I thought it was and was a unexpected surprise when i realised i didn't have to pay!)
Come on EVERTON!
:notworthy tomasz :notworthy radzinski does it again!!!!!
what a player he's become this season under big Dave.
great result and joint with chelsea "we've spent a multi million for nowt" now and only 5th on goal difference.

West Bromwich Albion (A)
Manchester City (H)
Sunderland (A)
Bolton Wanderers (H)
Aston Villa (A)

beating Chelsea puts us into 4th though :)

To be honest I am glad I am looking at the run in at the
top end of the table rather than the bottom :)
Has anyone been on the BBC 606 message board? There is some absolute tripe written on those message boards! I only look for a laugh! Some of the stuff is unbelievable! Mostly narrowminded Liverpool fans coming onto the Everton board and going off on one about how good Liverpool are etc! Haven't even bothered signing up for it as it seemed like a waste of time.
silent - god knows why my name appears as the thread starter!! Clearly you started it, considering you posted the first message !!
Oh well, it must be who is the biggest evertonian fight
Anyways, who cares, were 4th (sod goal difference :)) the red scum are 5 points behind us and we have the greatest player to enter british football !!
Come on John Rooney :)
Have to love Mr And Mrs Rooney, calling thier kids John & Wayne
I now have tickets for Everton's next home game against West Ham. :) Luckily the girlfriend is understanding and she's coming too! If it was anything like last Saturday I can't wait. The atmosphere the last time I was there (West Brom) was amazing and if we win this weekend it's going to be even better against West Ham!
I have a gut feeling this weekend's game with Mboro is going to be 2-2 draw! I hope I am wrong and we win though! :D
We do have a tough run in, but at least our future is totally in our hands, if we beat the good teams we'll get into Europe.
plus we've got a few players back from injury, Big Dun, Linderoth, Rodrigo, Chadders, and maybe Hibbert if his hernia is alright.
as much as i love him, i can never get to excited about big dunc. he'll play the reserve match tonight and get injured again. :(
good that most of the squad is fit though, will help our run in no end.
middlesbrough should be 3 pts but there good at home.
west ham will be a certain.
my lady brought me 2 tickets (yet to get) for the red ***** home game - if i can get any, and failing that, any game i chose! she is great and slowly becoming another toffee
:|
Well at least we've moved up to 4th.

uep, above chelsea now. the real blues move up:clap:
