Is it possible? Everytime I try my MD says No Copy. Is the only option to go the analoge route?

Is your DVD players optical out set to feed stereo not 5.1 sound?

Depends if your MD has a Sample Rate Convertor too. PCM from a CD is 44.1KHz and from a DVD it's 48KHz... MiniDisc is 44.1KHz

...and as mr.nick said, make sure the Digital Out is set to PCM

I,ve set everything to D-PCM or PCM and it still says no copy.
