From Neil Gaiman's online journal:

Hello Mr. Gaiman,

My name is Pamela Kipnes and I am the Marketing Manager for A&E Home Video/New Video. Through our deal with the BBC, A&E Home Video will release Neverwhere on DVD in a 2 pack set in June 2003. We are all very excited about this project, and I was hoping that you might want to be involved. If you were interested, I'd love to hear your thoughts on potential DVD bonus features, plus any other marketing or promotional ideas you might have.

I'll look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Pamela Kipnes

So I've replied, and we're starting to talk...

I'd be quite interested in this. Never got to see it on telly, and while it's low budget origins are meant to shine through, it'd be nice to see it anyway.

Now we just need a Death movie... ;)

I remember watching this when it was on TV. It is cheap, reminded me of a childrens workshop programme, or something made for educational purposes. I really enjoyed it though, some pretty good performances and a great story of course. I'll certainly be giving it a look.

Thought I'd dig up an ancient thread as Neverwhere is being sneaked out on region 2 next Monday!

Available at play and sendit and everywhere else I guess.

Thanks for pointing that out. £10.95 from dvd.co.uk (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://dvddeals.at/thedvdforums)
I watched this on VHS a few years ago and while it looks bad the acting is still good.

I love the book and I think it could make a great film. The only thing I liked about the series really was Croup and Vandemaar - who I thought were spot on (I read the book first).
