She left the other day. Ms Valance is now concentrating on her 'music' career.

It's a pathetic storyline.
Not a big fan, but occasionally watched it whilst eating dinner. But this Susan thing is just too dire to watch.
And I like WWE storylines!

LMAO is this for real, haven't watched neigbours in years.

She'll be back for a bit before she leaves "properly".
The Susan storyline is pretty awful IMO. She slipped on some milk a few weeks back, smacked her head and went into hospital. When she came round, she had amnesia and thinks she is 16 again. On getting released from hospital, she freaked out, not liking Karl at all (finding him scary and bossy) and ran off to find her true love (who at 16 was a farmhand called Craig). She has found him and at the moment he is trying to help, but the suspicion is that he wants to carry on where he left off (as he has made mention that she was the best thing that ever happened to him and he was a fool to let her go).

She thinks she 16
It could only happen in Neighbours, I too never see this as I don't get home in time, just a few times I catch the last 2 or 3 minutes and haven't got a clue who half the cast are.
It is up there with the "it was all a dream" plot in Dallas!

...and that she was bullied by Lyn Scully and Harold Bishop was the Minister for Prisons.
ICBW but I vaguely recall Joe Scully was in it as well possibly as the Gate Guard?

The neigbours script writers have lost the plot.
Failing to realise that all the kids would be leaving school (except one) they have had to hurridly write in about 6 new kids to fill their school set. Plus has anyone seen what happened in the Australian version in the last week :shocker:

In Australia this week:-
Drew was killed falling off a horse. Bad time for the Kennedy's all round. At least Susan won't mind so much cos she don't know who he is. :) (Yes, the amnesia storyline is STILL running in Australia)

mind you, some decent bappage usually on show.
not to the level of home and away though.
Sorry, i watch it for the storylines, honest!

Doesn't she look in the mirror and think 'Christ I look old!' if she thinks she's 16 then?

Apparently
Dee (Madeline West) was involved in an RTA a while ago and suffered a cut to the forehead. To fit this into the Neighbours storyline, I hear that in the show she gets hit with a tennis ball during a game of cricket. Who says the script writers don’t come up with anything good?

Would that not be a cricket ball in a game of cricket or a tennis ball in a game of tennis

God Neighbours is so ***** now! I remember back in the days when we had Helen, Jim, Madge, and all the other peeps and the story lines were believable (can I say that?! :D). Now it's just pap!
*sigh* At least we get to see some decent totty.... :norty:

She now knows she's not 16, she has just lost her memory between being 16 and the present. Neighbours does have stupid storylines, but I fail to see why this one is more ridiculous than, say, Memento or The Bourne Identity. Ill-judged perhaps, cos it's rubbish, but not especially ridiculous, especially for a soap.
Bring back Mrs Mangel. She was great.
The last time I watched Neighbours Helen had just died. I guess I've missed a bit!

Mrs Mangle's amnesia attack was great - she became really nice!(didn't that painting that Helen Daniels did of her fall on her head? And I think that she came back to normal after falling off a ladder, but they could be the othr way round...)
And haven't watched Neighbours for a decade, but isn't this 'Susan regresses to teenager' storyline lifted straight out of Twin Peaks?
The past couple of days I've watched it I've been cringing to myself. The storylines are SO lame! Someone should give that Summer kid a big slap and as for Lynn Scully's attempt at singing today:rolleyes:
:shocker: at the spoliers. How far is the Aussie Neighbours ahead of us?

I'll keep in in spoilers,
From what I read about this, the accident Madeline West had was actually quite serious. She was standing waiting to cross the road and was knocked down by a bus, the mirror was overhanging the pavement and hit her in the face at full speed.
Apparently caused a lot of damage to her face and required quite extensive surgery. The pics I saw didn't look too severe but I think there is some permanent scarring.
Dee is in panto in Wemouth this year
Feel free to correct me, but isn't Harold Bishop the head writer on the show, which might explain why he is in every episode.

AFAIK they were playing cricket in the street, so I guess it was a tennis ball.

I have a picture of Madeleine West of her waving at the camera smiling at me - my girlfriend took it for me when she was over in Oz and went to a Neighbours night at some bar somewhere.
I swear she is smiling at ME, I swear she is.

Hadn't Ted Douglas (Harold B) been sacked by then for being corrupt - he was one of the high up people in either the McNally mob or the Fellows gang. His departure paved the way for Davo to become "The Department".
Joe Scully was Bongo Connors, Rita's brother.

I knew Joe Scully was in it somewhere, thanks for that.
Yes Harold (as the Minister for Prisons) was last seen legging it to the nearest airport when the cops found out what he had been up to.:nono:
He subsequently reappeard a series or three later, a little more tubbier as a vicar who was Pixie's Mason's dad!
And Lizzie Bordsworth turned up as (another) daft old bat in Mad Max but never made it into Neighbours, yet!

It'll be a bit difficult for her to appear in Neighbours seeing as she's been dead about 10 years...

Everyone remembers this plot line because bobby came back, but didn't Sue Ellen get blown up in an office explosion at the end of the previous series?
By far the best neighbours moment was Bouncers dream!
We rang in to Radio 1 with that one and got a mention for just how funny it was.
Anyone remember it?
